“We are delighted to stand shoulder to shoulder alongside outstanding women-led organizations from around the globe. As an all-female executive leadership in Manufacturing, a non-traditional area for women, this recognition from the Stevie Organization means a lot to us. We're thrilled to be acknowledged for executive leadership, financial achievement and most importantly, as a role models” said Irene Sterian, Founder, President & CEO of REMAP.

It was great to hear from this year’s judging panel about the REMAP submissions:

  • “Love the description that Irene has the ability to be an intrapreneur within a large organization while maintaining an entrepreneurial mindset to build win/win value chains. This is so important”.
  •  “Another manufacturing innovator that takes atypically unexciting concept to a higher level. Irene with her patented memory circuit packaging has taken innovation to a different level and will have an impact to manufacturing for many years to come”.
  • “Committee of the U.S. Congress states that “more than two-thirds of the more than 12 million people employed in manufacturing are male.” Furthermore, “…women’s share of manufacturing employment is the lowest since 1971." REMAP is doing its part in breaking the glass ceiling in the industry”!
  •  “Wow. You all have been incredibly busy. Leaving no stone unturned, I was impressed with how you leveraged growth prior to COVID and found ways to support the very businesses in your sights and beyond. REMAP is quite honestly the perfect name for a business thrust into a global pandemic where all businesses had to do just that. Best Wishes”.
  • “Achieving great results is in their DNA too:) Impressive”!
  •  “Very interesting submission. It was difficult to understand a company supporting Canada's electronic sector, promoting and investigating in exciting new projects and educating is very interesting. In the COVID context, the finance team seem to have been able to continue to run all its activity through aggressive digitalization, launching of collaborative platforms and still manage to improve on their process. I am particularly impressed by the fact that audits were concluded without any exception or adjustments”.
  • “REMAP has led the transformation and digitization of manufacturing in Canada”.
